Prestonsburg Beats Paintsville In 10 Inning Thriller
The Prestonsburg Blackcats were able to get a 3-2 win over the Paintsville Tigers in 10 innings on Monday night in Prestonsburg.
Brody Napier pitched all 10 innings on the mound, striking out 4 batters while scattering 10 hits and allowing no earned runs to get the win. Napier also had 2 hits and 1 RBI at the plate.
Also for Prestonsburg, Crayson "Bones" Lafferty had 2 hits and a run scored. Samuel Hyden had a single and 2 runs scored. Cruz Clark and Luke Hall each had hits.
For Paintsville, Lukas Stewart had 4 hits. Dixon Kincheloe recorded 3 hits, including a double. Colton Short had 2 hits and a run scored. Kenneth Tackett added 2 hits. Kruz Howell finished with a hit.
Prestonsburg will play at Pikeville on Tuesday while Paintsville will battle Floyd Central on the road next Monday.
