Tigers Get Big Win Over Pikeville
The Paintsville Tigers got a 7-3 win at Pikeville in a battle of top notch 15th Region programs.
For the Tigers, Luke Stratton had 2 doubles and 2 RBIs. Lukas Stewart had 2 hits, including a triple and 1 RBI. Anderson Lauffer added 2 hits and 1 RBI. Colton Short added a hit and 2 RBIs. Dixon Kincheloe recorded a hit and 1 RBI. Brody Howell and Kruze Howell each had a hit.
Stewart got the win on the mound after allowing only 1 earned run on 4 hits while recording 4 strikeouts over 3 innings pitched. Howell and Kincheloe both pitched stellar in relief. Howell allowed no hits and struck out 2 batters over 3 innings. Kincheloe allowed only 1 hit in 1 inning.
For Pikeville, Bash Ryan had 2 hits, including a triple and 2 RBIs. Gage Burgett added 2 hits. Caden Justice finished with a hit.
