Hillbillies Knock Off 3rd Ranked Sherman On The Road
The Man Hillbillies (15-7) picked up a huge road win on Saturday as they strolled into Seth and took down the 3rd ranked (Class A) Sherman Tide (15-3) in overtime, 61-52.
It was Sherman's first loss at home this season and Man's second win in a row. This is a huge win for the Hillbillies, giving them momentum going into Regional Tournament play.
Grayson Sanders led the Hillbillies with 20 points. Connor Booth followed with 15 points. Jaxon Vance netted 10 points. Bryson Wingler scored 8 points. Adex Martin scored 5 points. Landon Cantrell finished with 3 points.
The Hillbillies are seeded 5th for the Class A Region IV tournament and will travel to 4th seed Wahama (10-10) on Thursday.
