Lady Blackcats Knock Off Shelby Valley
The Prestonsburg Lady Blackcats advanced in the 15th Region Super Region Tournament with a 66-49 win over host Shelby Valley on Saturday.
For the Lady Blackcats, Jade Fitzpatrick was named the Double Kwik Player of the Game with 29 points. Candiace Allen added 11 points. Laken Stephens had 9 points. Allison Howard finished with 6 points.
For Shelby Valley, Lindsay Baldwin led the way with 24 points. Elin Bartley followed with 8 points. Addison Walters had had 7 points. Kaylie Bowersock finished with 5 points.
