Lady Eagles Win 57th District Championship
The Johnson Central Lady Eagles captured the 57th District Championship with a 65-33 win over Paintsville on Wednesday at Johnson Central High School.
Allie Slone led Johnson Central with 21 points. Karlea Stanley followed with 15 points. Slone and Stanley were named the Double Kwik Co-Players of the Game for their efforts. Emma McKenzie finished with 12 points.
For Paintsville, Kylie Kinner had 8 points.
