Lady Pirates Win 60th District Championship
Lexi Mapes hit a fade away jumper from the baseline as the clock wound down to lift the Belfry Lady Pirates to a 52-51 win over Pike County Central in the 60th District Championship game on Wednesday at Belfry High School.
Mapes led the Lady Pirates and was named the Double Kwik Player of the Game with 19 points. Kami Dillon added 12 points. Emma Dixon finished with 10 points.
Pike County Central was led by Cydney Snodgrass' 22 points. Larah Stanley followed with 14 points. Jadyn Looney finished with 9 points.
