Panthers Get Senior Night Win Over Man
The 2nd ranked (Class A) Tug Valley Panthers were able to send their seniors out in style in a 73-56 win over the Man Hillbillies on senior night in Naugatuck on Tuesday.
Braydun Ferris earned Tug Valley Wellness Center Player of the Game honors with 33 points to lead the Panthers (16-5). Zade Rash stuffed the stat sheet with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals. Carson Newsome also fired in 17 points in the win.
The Hillbillies (13-7) were led by Grayson Sanders and Noah Sanders with 16 points apiece. Jaxson Vance fired in 11 points.
The Panthers will now head into postseason play while Man plays at River View on Wednesday to conclude the regular season.
